Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA Therapy) is the use of techniques and principles to bring about meaningful and positive change in behavior. Your ABA team will consists of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst®   (BCBA®) and a small team of behavior therapists.  Each therapist implements treatments outlined in Individualized Treatment Plans (ITPs) with the direction of the behavior of analyst/consultants. Therapists work with clients to strengthen language, self-help, and social skills and to build on academics. Therapists also assist with building life skills including but limited to feeding, dressing and other skills.

 

 

 

  • The BCBA® creates treatment plans developed through assessments of each learner’s skills and preferences. Treatment plans may also include family goals.

 

  • The client receives a lot of praise for demonstrating skills and socially appropriate behaviors.  The emphasis is on positive social interactions and enjoyable learning.
